The services we provide are ordered by your doctor. Always There then, in turn, bills Medicare, Medicaid, your private insurance plan and/or employer-sponsored health plan. Private insurance plans, including managed care plans,
authorize your care before we visit you.
Always There also works directly with most managed care
insurance plans offered in New York.
Private Pay
Private Pay may be an option if you want or need more care than public or private insurance plans cover. Always There’s Not-for-Profit rates are very reasonable and available. For certain services a sliding fee scale is available. Also note: Home Health Care costs are typically much lower than fees at residential health care facilities.
Medicare
Medicare is a Health Insurance Program for: People age 65 or older and people under age 65 with certain disabilities. Medicare may cover home health care services, including part-time skilled nursing care, part-time home health aides, and rehabilitative therapy (including speech, physical and occupational therapies). To qualify for Medicare Services the patient must be home-bound, require part-time and intermitent skilled services and be under the care of a physcian.
Medicaid
Medicaid is a joint Federal and State health insurance program available to United States citizens and permanent residents who meet certain requirements for income and resources. Personal Care Aide Services must be authorized by the local Department of Social Services.

Private Health Insurance
Private Health Insurance, may cover home care services based on your plan. Always There participates in many of those plans.
Charitable Care
Charitable Care is available for certain services based on financial need and program criteria to uninsured New Yorkers who have nowhere else to turn. CLICK HERE to request more information.
Veterans
Veterans ~ If you or your loved one is registered with The Veterans Administration, your home care and Adult Day Program needs may be covered.
