VOLUNTEERS for Always There’s Motorcycle & Car Show

We are seeking people for a one day project for a FUND RAISER for Always There.
It will be held on August 6th, 2011 ~ Saturday from 10 AM until 3:00 PM.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring sun screen. You will be outside all day.
Lunch is included. The following volunteers are needed

1. Six to eight individuals for setup and breakdown of event.
Tasks will include:
• Setup of tables and all event materials
• Breakdown of tables and all event materials

2. Three to four individuals for the registration area
Tasks will include:
• Getting proper paperwork and registration fees collected
• Answer question and direct, as needed
• Keep monies secure till end of event when handing it to supervisor

3. Two individuals for the 50/50 Raffle Tickets
Tasks will include:
• Dress in retro outfit and sell 50/50 raffle tickets
• Help announce winners at the end of the event

4. Two individuals for Popcorn Rollerblade Girls
Tasks will include:
• Rollerblading through parking lot to sell popcorn and other treats

5. Two to three individuals for the Always There Car Show T-Shirt Booth
Tasks will include:
• Selling shirts and collecting money for shirts

6. Three to four individuals to park cars
Tasks will include:
• After each registration you will safely guide cars to proper parking spaces
• As event ends ~ making sure cars leave safely

7. Four to six individuals for food/beverage assistance
Tasks will include:
• Help Stone Pony with BBQ dinners
• Collect money
• Help sell cold beverages

8. Four to six judging assistants for Always There's Car & Motorcycle Show
Tasks will include:
• Assisting Head Judge with carefully judging entries for awards

9. One MC for Event
Tasks will include:
• Someone comfortable with audiences that will make announcement through day

10. One to Two ~ Clown Face painting crew for Kids Area
Tasks will include:
• Paint children's faces through day
• Dress up as a retro clown

11. Three to Four for kids activity area
Tasks will include:
• Must be comfortable and safe with children
• Spend day executing kids activities with children

12. One to two ~ First Aide Station
Tasks will include:
• Medical trained person with first aid knowledge to take care of any accidents or sickness

13. One individual to assist with Media Information Table
Tasks will include:
• Someone with marketing and media skills to help with press and information

14. One to four individuals to flier and poster event ahead of time
Tasks will include:
• Four to six weeks ahead ~ postering entire community
• Assistance in picking up politician signs day after event.

VOLUNTEERS for the 4th Annual An Evening In Tuscany.

We are seeking people for a one day project for a FUND RAISER for Always There. 
It will be held on September 24th, 2011 ~ Saturday from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
Please wear comfortable shoes if you are staying for dinner ~ dress code is business casual.

The following volunteers are needed:

1. Four to six individuals for setup and breakdown of event.
Tasks will include:
• Setup of tables and all event materials
• Breakdown of tables and all event materials

2. One to three to four individuals for the registration area
Tasks will include:
• Hand out table assignments and direct individuals to their tables
• Answer question and direct, as needed

3. Four to six individuals for the silent auction team
Tasks will include:
• Assist designing, bundling and putting gift baskets and certificates together
• Create bid forms and signage as needed for Silent Auction
• Day or night before set up and design silent auction area
• Night of monitor items and answer question
• At end of night bundle items for winning parties together, tally amounts and collect money
• Collect and secure money in money bag until supervisor collects

4. One to two individuals to help with theater setup, lighting and sound
Tasks will include:
• Work with Director of Development together on all production details and needs

5. One to two individuals to help sell centerpieces at table
Tasks will include:
• Raffling to highest bidder centerpieces and collecting money

6. One individual to monitor Always There's Living Statues
Tasks will include:
• Collecting monies and answering any questions on living statues

7. One individual to monitor Lazy Swan Valet Parking
Tasks will include:
• Work with Lazy Swan team to make sure everything is working properly and safely

8. One individual to monitor Lazy Swan's Wine tasting Hour
Tasks will include:
• Work with Lazy Swan team to make sure everything is working properly and safely

8. Two to four individuals to prepare and send invitations
Tasks will include:
• Assisting Director of Development in invitation and save-the-date mailing
• Database knowledge a plus

9. One MC for Celebrities and performers for event
Tasks will include:
• Someone comfortable with audiences that will make announcement, as needed

10. One to four individuals to flier and poster event ahead of time
Tasks will include:
• Four to six weeks ahead ~ postering entire community
• Assistance in picking up politician signs day after event.
